🏁 Sub-60 Seconds

You can solve the cube but it takes 1–3 minutes. Here's how to break 60 seconds.

Learn the Beginner's Method completely
Make sure you know all 7 steps and ~5 algorithms cold. No looking at guides mid-solve.
Practice lookahead on the last layer
While solving step 5, start planning step 6 in your head. Don't pause between steps.
Solve the white cross faster
Don't use algorithms for the cross. Do it intuitively. This alone shaves 20–30 seconds.
Learn F2L pairs intuitively
Start looking for middle-layer edges while you solve the corners. Slight look-ahead.
Reduce pauses
The biggest time loss is hesitating between steps. Drill each step until it's automatic.
Get a better cube
A magnetic speed cube dramatically improves turn quality. Try MoYu RS3M 2023 (~$10).
